She sees night
lift its dark curtain
and surrender to the
brightness
of a brand new day.
Darkness
is replaced by
the sweet songs of
birds.
The whole world comes alive.
Nature is awakened.
She sees soft,
fragile petals
that are kissed by the
dew.
Caressed by the breezes,
Sun's rays make them new.
Buds unfold delicate
petals
displaying their bloom.
All nature marvels.
She is awed
by the loveliness
speechless wonder
permeates
all who enter its gates.
The essence of beauty
is seen in the majestic splendor
of red winged blackbirds,
and experienced in the sound
of mating geese.
Dew
descends upon the foliage
and glistens like jewels
in the sunlight,
flowers display their
florid beauty,
as song sparrows swiftly flit
from bush to ground
in search of bugs to eat.
This is a haven
from a sometime stormy world;
a refuge for any soul
seeking peace.
God speaks in the Garden.
In the silent wonder of nature
you can hear Him whisper
Your Name

Truely a winner
as now depicted by the Gold. Wonderful to watch the garden come alive in the mornings while drinking good coffee.

lovely
Your garden imagery is clear and evokes memories of my own garden (when I had one). When we listen, there is clarity in what we hear. I like the personal ending, "Your Name". Congratulations for your gold trophy.

You are the gold trophy winner
Thank you for entering my contest. I get great joy from reading the poems the prompts inspire.
Congratulations. In my humble opinion, you have written the best poem for this contest. I am awarding you the gold trophy.
You use the best possible picture for your poem.
The sparrow is special in that God uses this bird to show us that no one of us humans is small enough or insignificant enough to be overlooked. Good feeds the sparrows. He also looks after our every need.
You have a gift for writing. I hope you will use this God-given gift.

This is very beautiful. When I watch the birds in my backyard, there is peace in the silence interrupted only by bird song.
It is like "In the silent wonder of nature (I) can hear Him whisper (my) Name" and it is very good.
Beautifully crafted. You should take the gold in this contest.
