    Thank you for entering my short poems contest. You have penned a very nice haiku witrh this write, but I do believe that the flower is spelled lily and not lilly.

      Hey thanks for the nice comment...and i think somone else told me that i spelled lily wrong when i spelled it with 2 "l's" and now your saying thats wrong....lol. I really need to invest in a dictionairy thanx for the heads up...i really do appreciate it - i don't want to look stupid! lol.

    Don't worry about syllables -575 is a misunderstanding of what haiku are about. 17 or less. Round about 12 is best. If you want to learn all about haiku, visit haikumonk on this site. His explanations are clear and correct, and his haiku are wonderful to read and learn from.

    Read, read, read. You are a good poet - it's worth the time to learn from others.
