It twas a sweet summer night.
It was a little breezy outside.
I looked up at the moon and oh what I sight.
I was sitting in the park a new bride.
I tried not, to cry with all my might.
I watched as a mist settled over the park.
Then it quickly grew very dark.
I sat and thought about my wonderful man.
I saw a man as towards me he ran.
I didn't notice that he had something in his hand.
Before he could get to me I saw a blue light.
She appeared out the light dressed like a knight.
She was a vision in white.
She blinded the man and disarmed him.
She saved me from having been torn from limb to limb.
I looked at this angel and watched as she ascended.
I was so glad to have been defended.
I write this for her, so she can know how grateful i am.
I come to this place every year and think of her.
Knowing she watches over me and nothing will ever occur.
