Do you believe it exists?
Hope is a Belief--
Hope is an Expectation-
An uninhibited feeling.
For soemeone or something!
and
Be it, imaginary or real?
True friendsips blossom,
flower and die.
Or sometimes they last forever!
When younger, as in this pic,
Curiosity starts arousing us
when
We want out of the fences--
seking new adventures.
and risks of unknown consequences.
Thus, Life becomes a history
That we pen by our own choices.
In this pic, two innocents,
Seal their feelings with a kiss--
Innocent, yes.
Daring, indeed!
however,
By not experiencing even a kiss
Or a touch of innocent hands,
We are staying bound by our chains--
The chains of not reaching--
Of living a life of darkness
Ignorance, and never seeing hope--
The main innovation or all dreams
which
Makes us do or become what we wish
For like the stars,
There are many waiting to be touched
Waiting to be unleashed by our Beliefs!

I do believe in hope, and it can come from anywhere. This is really an extrordinary poem you have penned here. You thoughts are clear, and though provocking. I loved the metaphor of friendship being like a flower. I also loved the part about how me are our own chains, keeping us from living life. It's so true. Congrats on the HM! I truely enjoyed this poem, thanks for sharing.

I am always a believer of hope....i really like this poem and the theme here; I especially love the lines "the chains of not reaching...and never seeing hope, the main innovator for all dreams." how well spoken! Thank you for commenting on my poem "life on the mobius strip."

I love it this poem a lot.. I did however notice a typo that you have.. line 15. seking=seeking. I would also like to suggest not to put "as in this pic" its not realy neceassary... other than that, you did an excellent job on it..
Congratulations on the HM..

Yes indeed, as children our expression develop as we reach the point of taking the risk of letting others know.
A simple kiss, through innocence... Have we really changed so much.... Nice memory! Nice insight into the poem. I enjoyed the read!!! GOOD job...
P.S. DH~ I really love the way you put the words and the thoughts together in your work. You really have a special quality about you.

On another note...I don't mind you using my drawing as a background...but would you mind crediting me somewhere? -
Hey thank you for entering this was lovely... if you don't mind though, if you are going to use Char's picture for your background, please put her picture credit in your author's notes.
