Dreams become your play ground,
Your power stirring around.
I find myself powerless to your all,
But if I let you go, then I'll take the fall.
I don't like or love you,
But my mind won't let you be through.
Around and around my mind spins,
Another nightmare begins.
I find myself sitting in a room,
And images of you consume.
I hear your voice so clear,
As if you were really near.
I reach out, it's time
That you pay for your crime.
I cannot allow you anymore room,
Your power once strong, won't bloom.
I watch as it withers at my touch,
It was always for you, too much.
Too proud to tone it down,
And now your pride takes you to the ground.
I step away, and watch you cry out in pain
But you took more risks, and thought you'd gain.
I can't feel sorry for someone so abusive,
Now I find your power becoming reclusive.
Dreams no longer your place to play,
Only your own mind for you to lay.
Those strings cut and bound,
You'll feel it, but no more able to go around.
A lesson you must learn,
Relationships to fix, love to earn.
