man

i long to hear the wind through the leaves
but the buildings block the wind
i long to watch the lightning crack through the sky
but the lights of the city blur my vision
i long to feel the sun on my back
but the smog clouds the sky
i long to see the animals do as the wish
but we do as we wish

    I think this is a wondeful poem with a brilliant title. I tell what you long to have but reitterate with what keeps you from having what you desire. The imagery was pretty decent. Nice job hun.

    I like this poem alot! I just think that it could be a little longer. I really like your narrative and imagry though!
