Amber passion -

breathed one last breath -

from the suns radiating lust

pooling...

as hot swelling desire

on the distant desert hills

shining orb;

of great commitment

slowly makes his stand

in the night sky

lust and desire quickly fading

to make way for

lasting relations -

the tie between

two lovers;

Pristine blackness of

midnight sky

&

the rough edges of

a distant pearl

two lovers;

whom will always be

entangled -

yet separated by the

longing and lust

of the daytime

sun

    Wow. This was very cool, painting the sunset as two lovers "entangled". Even without the picture, there was such a vivid, vibrant picture relayed through these lines. I am quite impressed by this job well done! Good luck with the contest!
