I was suppose to be protected
Instead I find I was neglected
You left me out there to wither away
In a world where I would be betrayed
You allowed them to step on and smash me
All the while you claimed you didn't see
My roots are down in the ground
But I still can't find my way around
I can't find my way out of this broken Protection
I can't even ask anyone for some kind of direction

I feel like this sometimes. You have an amazing talent at capturing common feelings. (A good thing, lol)=) -
Oh my honey I am here for you
I know their are many out in this world that has been done a great injustice and left without arms about them . I know in your world with such sad memories you feel you are alone .But the ones you have about you are the same ones that left you behind . Look just outside of the ones near and you will find hearts so filled with love and guidance .I am many miles away and I wish I could comfort you more and show you the whole world is not all bad . As you grow older and in the reaching out you will find many people there with love and understanding . I cant say I know exactly how you feel but I know how I would have felt if I didnt have a happy home when growing up .But I had friends I helped who didnt have such a great life and in helping them find their way it made my love even stronger .So you see you can find this life and love you so crave even if its miles away for to know you are loved and needed by others in turn you begin to know your not alone and this does give you the strength to take that extra step and live the life you so deserve

i read first then looked at the pic. it all ties well together and is interesting picture and how one can take it and bring it home to one's personal brokeness when one thinks they are safe.

more then i too would like to admit..... did you look at pic though... its what gave me the words.. I have learned that i like looking at pics and trying to make it into words and what it means to me... gives me inspiration... lol
