Country as far as the eye can see,
But not as lovely as thee,
Horses run about the land,
Never to be so bland,
Old ram shackled barns,
And wide open farmland,
Many small peaceful developments,
And barely any stores or parks withing walking distance.
There are a lot of crreks, streams, and rivers,
Minute fish swim throughout the waters,
Just gliding along to nowhere in particular,
Perhaps to the awakening of new life.
You're all I think about these days,
Still waiting here somewhat impatiently,
Writing you poems of love,
Make me feel so much better,
Being far away just changes how I feel,
Dragging out my feelings,
And putting them first.
I want to feel happy again,
And make you as well,
I'll be there for you,
When you need me,
Just ask that's all.
My love I feel is growing,
With each passing day,
Just being here,
Fells like I'm a billion miles away,
But this love that I hold,
Will always remain,
Because it is everlasting.
