Grief devours broken heart,
spirit torn, ripped wide apart.
Sorrow bleeds through the skin,
to memories locked tight within.
Thoughts consume, laced in pain,
lament pumps through every vein.
Eternal love etched, upon the soul,
destiny crumbled, no longer whole.
Longing for just one more touch,
from lost love you miss so much.

Gripping
The grief is held tight in this as my heart goes out to the words as though I am witnessing this myself before my own eyes.

You got her essence!
The picture has an intersesting contrast between life and death and the dark and the light. Notice the raven, tombstone and the desolate woods versus the white gown, young maiden and the rose. I think you expressed the inner despair very well. Good luck wit this in the contest.
