With eyes so fair yet shadowed,
Singing hopefully
She sits upon her rocky ledge
Overlooking the sea
Waiting for him to come
tonight, hell take her away,
waiting, always waiting
The years go by and she remains
She sighs and sings a beautiful song
with a haunting melody
Eyes never moving, her gaze fixed upon
That beautiful, torrid sea
every night, she sits and waits,
and sighs so mournfully
the years go on, but does she age
On her ledge that crumbled to the sea?
The clouds they part for the moonlight to show
A stranger coming through the leaves
He stops and stares, embracing a sight
which only he can see.
