I wish I could let go
and just say "goodbye"
just say no
I don't want to give in
don't want to sin
I'd like you to be happy
But I thought your happiness was me
You proved me wrong
Got me singing a completely different song
All I did was leave town
I didn't think I'd leave you heart
honestly baby i thought we'd never part
Though you showed me how easy
you could give it all away
just to be with some other girl
who, also, cant always stay
So in the end, you aren't going to win
You'll be left with nothing
Soon enough you'll lose that little grin
You'll try to come back
But I'll never turn
I can't go back to standing in the rain
Endeavoring so much pain
though easier said then done
I'll find my strength to succeed somewhere else
proving i can go on to you and myself
But that'll only happen in  forever and a day
Though you can't imagine how fast forever is coming these days
