Sun falls on happy children
Delighting in the pursuits of the day
Birds chirp from their merry trees
Butterflies and bees make visits to the flowers
Here and there joyful dogs play in the grass
Unaware of what soon comes
Storm clouds wait
Hiding behind blue mountains
To ambush the merry world
Only sons of the night
And daughters of the moon
Know what is to come
Darkness falls
And extinguishes the cheerful laughter
As day sounds come to an end
Now the chorus of the midnight hour
Swell around the sleeping people of the sun
Trying hopelessly to warn them
As the storm approaches
One last howl of the wolf
And the clouds swallow the moon
The rain is blood
The lightning a whip
And the thunder a scream
That pierces all hearts
Chaos amplifies a thousand-fold
The earth is rent at its seams
And the shrieks of morbid generations
Pour from the dirt
Only the dark ones stand
Against the rising torrent
Parting their bodies from their souls
As they fight for the old order
Heroes as they fall
