Before,
I was a wrangled victim
believing pain
as proof of life
Now
I welcome calm in silence
that screams joy
with much less strife.
How
could we explain the fuss?
kids have left
and now it's us.

Oh, I could use a little screaming silence once in a while.
Thank you very much for entering my contest.

I could cry.
I feel your pain, (as Bill Clinton once said) I felt this once when all were gone, but they came back! Ha Good poem Di -

CLINTON? You kidding?
Why, Bobbie, that's nearly insane. Next thing you'll quote is his public denial about Lewinski. LOL
