Take me to a doctor,
My mind is not my own.
Take me to a doctor,
My sanity has flown.
Take me to a doctor,
So I can sleep at night.
Take me to a doctor,
He can make me right.
Take me to a doctor,
And knock upon his door,
Take me to a doctor,
I want the talking cure.
Take me to a doctor,
Lacan, Jung or Freud.
Take me to a doctor,
I need a caring guide.
Take me to a doctor,
Madness I have known,
Take me to a doctor,
My mind is not my own.
My mind is not my own.
Take me to a doctor,
My sanity has flown.
Take me to a doctor,
So I can sleep at night.
Take me to a doctor,
He can make me right.
Take me to a doctor,
And knock upon his door,
Take me to a doctor,
I want the talking cure.
Take me to a doctor,
Lacan, Jung or Freud.
Take me to a doctor,
I need a caring guide.
Take me to a doctor,
Madness I have known,
Take me to a doctor,
My mind is not my own.
