Your words are flowing through my veins
And your eyes are gawking at my soul
Tell me,
What is it that is revealed?
Does it viciously shake your mere existence?
Is your reflection of me perdurable?
Do you wish your curiosity of me would have never gained victory?
I tried to tell you
I tried my damnest to warn you-
Warn you of the demons concealed within
No more shame
and no more pride
Now where should I reside?
Don't let your apprehension devour you
For its merely only a memory-
A memory of which you once were
You can scamper away
but hatred will conquer all
You are acting like a child
all wide-eyes and unsuspecting
When you knew the truth all along
But a mistake doesn't teach you a lesson
It's like playing with fire
only to get burned
