Feeling the cold seep into my feet,
I wonder how it went so wrong,
A perfect life could go down hill so fast...
I was there for you but you never knew how much you meant to me until the end,
When you walked away and never came back..I have been told by so many, that you
Whispered my name with your last breath, like I was your saving grace,
Like I could somehow change the time of your death..
I sit here by your stone thinking of those times, when we would laugh at all the silly things in life, now I am here full of this never ending strife..I lay this rose here with you, a rose of a love that was never realized until the end.. you took your last breath, whispered my name.. Like I was your saving grace..

Sharp & Intense
"Like I could somehow change the time of your death" - What a line, you have penned such a heartfelt write so emotionally that I felt as if I was the one who was kneeling at the grave
