Hope

I need a friend,with some time to lend,
Because I wish my life would end.
But I can't let my sin,be the one to win.
So I'll learn to cope,without the dope I hope.
Why do I speed,when I should just read?
The word of the Lord,the seed that I need.
Maybe then I would be freed.
If only I could set a date,
For God to open up the gate,
But what if it's left up to fate?
