Castle of Crystals

A gleaming castle of crystals
and a bed canopied with lillies
merry melodies linger all around
lifts one among the light

Unfolds the soul like an envolope
trickles the purest rivers over my body
tickling cheeks and my tongue
healing and cleansing

spirits set upon virgin snow
under an orange sky
Walk among the hemline
of beaches and pastures 

filling with an undiscovered feeling
as whales glide across waters
and doves soar above trees
This is where we long to stay eternally

    nice view of an afterlife you present here. i can't pinpoint (and or do i want to) what it was that made it so good but this has a wonderful quality to it.

    So peaceful and elegant. Reader feels soothed throughout. Hard to pick a favorite stanza, considering all of them were good. But the first one really was exceptional. Thanks for entering.
