Cancer

Cancer came and took her breast,
But that wasn't enough,it wanted to take what we loved best.
So it spead to her bones,
And caused pain filled with grouns.
Yet with all the pain her faith stays stong,
For she knows she'll be in Heaven before long.
Thou her body cancer may someday take,
Her spirit and soul will never be at stake.
And when she goes we'll continue to hope,
That the memories of her will help us to cope.
And knowing she's with God above,
Watching over us with love.
Now we to must keep our faith in Him,
So one day in heaven we can see her again.

Great poem with tons of emotion in it!
I know what it's like to lose someone to cancer and to have cancer, so I really understand and feel you've reached you're goal here. It's a beautifully horrible piece, subject, and experience. Hope you're ok
