Calling On A Friend

Are you down,
If so, come on around.
And if your too full of glee to see,
That maybe its not all you but really me,
That needs some of that soulless joy,
To not feel like a tattered toy,
Please open up your door,
And save me from this war,
Between maturity and the child within,
Come please invite me in.

    you are not suppose to.
it is merely about someone who would like some cheering up

Very nice!!! This is one of my favorites!!! Love the "tattered toy" and "between maturity and the child within" Simply wonderful with great insight. And (even though you might have written this about me , I'M ALWAYS HERE FOR YOU. JUST TELL ME TO SHUT UP!!! (in those words)
