Gnarly chap in knickers,
selling trinkets on the corner
counting his money with abacus on his lap.
Fur clad star of screen,
stopping just to mettle
buying a pennant announcing her next film.
Rich lass and pauper,
meeting by happenstance
thrust together by lance of fate
never to meet again.
