The Trinkets that time forgot.

The gnarly bark of the huge oak tree,
holds many secrets in between,
it huge branches that seem all draped with fur,
and it leaves seem like they have been thrust above.
It is symmetrical like the beads of an abacus,
like a screen, its so transparent and predictable.
Like a chamber that time forgot, this tree stands tall,
A vault of hidden secrets, that time forgot.
I swear my emotions are entwined in this tree, like a lance entwines with its target.
Then I slowly fade away like a picture on a film
