Papa Bill was a hoot
the best man I know
He'd squeeze in his car
and away he would go
People would laugh
they thought him gross
But he'd give them a finger
and away he would coast
The destination each day
was always the same
A Big Mac and fries
to the drive-thru he came
But at the end of each day
he'd stop by and see
All his grand kids in town
so...he's the best man to me

I laughed hard at the photo, and the poem itself made me smile as well.
I don't know if it was purely pic-inspired or if you have a real-life relative in mind, but either way it is a sweet and funny piece. Thanks so much for entering my contest!

Thanks for the read and your comment! The pic. wasn't anyone I knew but it looked so much like my step-father who my boys always called "Papa Bill" and the poem was based on alot of his personality! He died 6yrs ago and we miss his great since of humor so this was in honor or him.

good luck with your contest
