For those of you
That granulates in the grind
I give you the vertebra
From my contorted spine
A backbone on which to survive
If you falter
On the fringes of frailty
Take my callused gut
And rejuvenate the fidelity
Holding steadfast against the 9 to 5
While others were at church
Playing the Sunday Saint
I was ruggedly hard at work
Fighting for the futile and faint
My own halo and wings did I craft
I gave until there was nothing
For now, I shall give what’s left
On this Monday morning it brings
Raging vitality from the catalyst of death
Bestowing the will to persevere
For the beaten, bludgeoned, and bruised
I relinquish my weathered husk
Sheltering the wrongfully abused
As the rest of me turns to dust
Inhale deeply and have no fear
This Monday mourning shall come and pass

Unusual, I'm really intrigued by this. A poignant tone and an out of the box message for all. Best wishes in the comp!
