1. Kyrsta Shay
2. 16
3. Lyrics
4. None
5. I tried out for two made one
6. A least everyday
7. Selfishly, myself.  I write all those things I don’t have the guts to say.
8. Obviously writing, I love History!  I like singing and dancing, and I made the Colourguard team at my school.
9. I hate reality T.V., News shows who lie/exaggerate, Vacuums, Summer.  People who only want me when they need something.
10. As much as I wouldn’t want to admit it, this would encourage my writing so much.  It seems shallow wanting a contest to prove you can write, but sometimes it’s all the recognition I can get.  I don’t share my poetry with anyone but my boyfriend outside of this site and I like it.  I’m airing all my dirty little secrets and people use it for entertainment.

Seg. 2

Since 5th grade I have had this inspiration,
This small burning hole in my heart,
Asking to be filled with anything,
All these lost emotion I don’t talk about,
All these thoughts I would leave inside my head.
I can’t promise you much, but more than anything,
I want my words to mean something,
More than verbs and compound sentences,
Because I’m so much more that what was preplanned ahead of me.
Now I’m 16 and I have so much to learn,
But at 16 I have so much to give,
So much to say,
This is the last day of this day and it’s barley even morning.
I don’t know why I am here, or who sent me,
But I’m going to make the best of my time,
And if you let me, I’m taking the world one syllable at a time,
No, regardless if you let me.

Seg. 3
Your Body Is My Canvas Wall

Your body is my canvas wall,
and when I'm done you'll have it all.
I almost picked black and white but that won't do,
The colours of the pallet will suit you.

An outline of your ever beating heart,
yes-that is where I need to start.
to show your lasting love for me
I made our hearts to sync in beat.

I painted your eyes shades of Green and Gray,
knowing they woud keep the tears away;
Then I start to draw your lips,
tracing the ruby red with my fingertips.

I move them down to your neckline,
where bruises and bitemarks prove youre mine.
I begin the hands then make them complete,
They fit perfectly in mine with defeat.

And when I'm done I add in the details,
and I put my lips where my finger trails.
You're my work of art; my masterpiece,
You're prefectly done...youre now complete.
