Valentines day massacre

Valentines Day Massacre

February 13 2008.....

What a beautiful day!
What a wonderful sight!
My heart is full of love,
The sun is shining bright!

So many years i've waited,
For one to share a day,
A love to hold and walk with,
To waste the hours away.

Hang on a minute.......

Your dad said what?
No i didn't cheat on you!
I didn't lie or slander,
What was i supposed to do?

Fine if thats what you want!
It's over now are you happy,
I wasted my time with you,
I'm sick of being sappy.

February 14 2008.......

What a beautiful day!
What a beautiful sight!
My heart is full of love,
The sun is shining bright.

So many months i wasted,
On the one to share this day,
A love who hurt and tortured,
Who took my very soul away.

Hang on a minute.......

How can i live without you?
I can't even bare the thought,
The sun won't be the same,
With the lessons you have taught.

I lay upon the cold floor,
As my puddle of blood grows,
Nothing left of this day,
Except one bloody black rose.

Author notes

Hope you like this.
Its my twisted way of venting.
My fiance and i were broken up by his father the day before valentines day.
Hope you enjoy
xoxo

Great story within this. Reminds me of the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. Great allusion to the old Chicago massacre. Tho it's prolly as much coincidence as anything. I'm not a fan of the ol abcb rhyme scheme, tho I can't help seem to stop using it. Good build up
