Hanging around on top of a hill
I'm up here against my will.
Just because my skin is black
No hope for me, I'll never get back.
I'm up here against my will
Hanging around on top of a hill.

Oh mercy! This takes me back a few years. Great rhyme and rhythm and a reminder to never let such things happen again.

You know, there are SO many of my writes that talk about accepting and not judging and all living as one and then I read something like this ... ~shaking head~
Just taken a step right back in time ... it's sad to think that the US used to do things like that isn't it?
thank you for your entry
