O, I LOVE IT!!!!
I think I teared up, because even though you are talking about a flight. . .it was kinda my fault that he died. You see, I was supposed to be grounded and My dad was at work and My mom was home. Brett(that was his name)called and asked to come over. I begged my mom until she finally said yes. We told him that my dad might come home for lunch, but then after he leaves it is ok. Well, he tried to beat my dad here and was going almost a hundred down an interstate and his tire blew. He lost control and started sliding into the ravine. He hit a tree on the driver-side door and died instantly. That day was our 7 month anniversary. So, your poem reminds me of how I feel yet again. . .MAN!!! You are good. -
