[ people talk ]

people talk
but do they really listen
listen to the screams of desperation
take a look
and you will see
life's not meant to be that way


the crys at night
the crys drain day
so sad to see the little children these days
i wish i could stop it
but that's not up to me
life's so bad
its hard to even see


children have no time to be Innocent

there introduced to theses thing so young
its hard to even live life
as a child so young

i look around and see these kids being beat
i guess they did something wrong
oh wait they didn't

drunk parents
beat there kids
no reason what so ever
its life
so sad
makes you want to cry....right?

well i know its not my best work...but i tried realli hard..

if you dont know what the poem is about..its about children being introduced to drugs,sex,and more at such a young age..and then there durnk perents beating them for on reasion..its just sooo sad

    I like this...but with some improvement on spelling and grammar it could be even better. For such a strong and popular- devastating- subject, a longer piece may even be more emotional. Nicely done and I'm glad to see someone has been speaking for those who are silenced by brutality of society. Thank you for the entry into my contest.

      thank you..i tryed really hard to make it..and its what i was up though so..i wrote prudy much about my life and others that have to live that way...
