All my life I have been waiting
Waiting for something to happen
Something extraordinary and true
To come out of the blue
I've sat here and let life flow on
Just laying speechless and wan
When something comes along I leap for joy
That problem or episode at hand keeps me sane
Then it ends and I melt back to my monotonous mold
And I turn back to the being of old
One day is like the next
I live in a state where I'm perplexed
Waiting for that day to come
Where I am not caught just watching the sun.

Very good emotions throughout this... It's a wonderful poem and I thank you for entering it in my contest. Good luck =]

The first part of your poem I can really relate to how you feel about the waiting part.
The imagery and emotions are good in this piece.

score 7
Well the second half of the poem is writein ncely and I realy liked the message portrayed I would give this a 8-9 exept that the first half has little to no flow so got stick with the 7 -
Your poem was written well, but it didn't really bring anything special to the table. I rate it at about a 6.

Well im sitting here with my cup of TEA! and reading your poems, as you read mine i thought i best read yours! liked this poem. does seem like you spend your life just waiting for the next thing to happen good or bad, hoping that it is good though!

i would change "innovating" but other than that good job. Remember, life is like a SINE graph
-
-
huh
What is a SINE graph and how does it relate to life -
-
put your calculator in radians and graph y=sin(x). if you want to see what my life has been like, graph y=7sin(.3x)

In answer to your question, yes. Yes I do have days just like that. This is what I'm feeling like a lot lately. And this poem is wonderful. Thank you for posting it here. I hope you find something that makes you feel complete and whole. Something that makes you truly happy. <3
