Patron Problems

I was in the middle of a good poem,
reading about someone else's love/hate
relationship with well-fitting shirts
and thinking of you.

I heard the door but didn't look up at once -
whoever it was could wait.
Then, out of the corner of my eye - You!

That lanky walk on those
long legs and that smile that
threatened to split your face
wide open.

You walked up,
turned in your books,
gave me a laughing smile
and moved on - while I tried to
remember what the hell I was doing.

I tried to scan your books twice
and swore at the laser before
realizing I was on the wrong screen.
It was the pink one I was looking for -
as bright as my turncoat cheeks.

Please tell me what you think

hummm, I love this. I like how you describe what is going on how you give life to what we all feel at one time or another. That crush that appears from no where and can make us lose track of what is going on.
