I don't question what I do for a living.
I just do what I am told.
I may be away from home for months or even years.
I want to keep our country safe.
I want to feel the love when I return.
I know some people don't get what we're fighting for.
But it's my duty.
I am proud to do it.
I can't take no days off.
Though sometimes I wish I could.
I am constantly at battle.
To make things right.
I wish I could open your eyes to see.
That this is all more then fighting.
But to protect us and make it better for them.
Let them have running water.
Roads to travel on.
I am an American Soldier.
I am fighting for US!
I get up everyday knowing I am fighting for the ones I love.
I pray I make it home in once piece.
I stand with pride when I walk through crowded streets.
Though some may hate me.
I doing my duty it don't matter what the price.
If I do lose my life.
I want you all to know I was doing it to keep you safe.
After all I am fighting for US!

I love this poem. First off, girls in uniform are absoultely hott but how you feel about fighting for the US, it makes it all better. Finally, somebody who shares almost the exact same views as myself. There are not enough poems and the such deticated to the soldiers who are fighting in the name of the United States. The personal message and pride in this piece is breath taking. I love it babe. Be safe, please.

Thanks for the loving comment. Like I said I will have to get some pictures of me in my uniform and let you see them. If I do though try not to rape the compute screen or anything. That's better in person. Plus they say you can't rape the willing. I am really glad you loved this one. I will do my best to be safe.
