Her minds eye is moving
past the fence and she sees…
a new life is spread before her,
past the water and beyond the trees.
She wonders if there will be
some one new in her life,
or will she always have to be
a mom, a daughter and an ex wife.
She wants a loving gentleman,
someone to share life’s voyage...
a man who will not care about
her past and all that baggage.
The burdens of life have been
her's for far too many years...
can she see into the future…
beyond the fence and past the tears?
