Kerstin had a brand new
and really evil plan
she knew it'd make her students
run as fast 's they can!
She called me just this afternoon
to ask me what I think,
She said: Please write a poem for me,
I'll offer you a drink!
I asked: What do you need this for?
To show it to your class?
She said: Exactly, please begin!
And I thought... "Alas!"
A Latin poem I had to write,
to torture all my mates,
they wouldn't like that one at all
and hurry to the States!
'cause Latin is not mandatory
in the USA.
But still, I wrote this little poem,
that made them run away!

Fine and unconventional
I'm not too sure if I could produce a poem like this in Latin. I don't find these acrostychs too difficult to produce, but yours is really good. Have fun in CZ. Greets and all the best in the contest, Götz
