A Survivor

A tiny blue faced baby few thought would survive,
Supposed to be a boy, but turning out to be a girl.
Big brown eyes, hair to match and golden brown skin
Looking nothing like the other three that came before.

The baby was replaced with a little girl,
One that spent most of her time dreaming outside.
Playing the roles of princesses, dancers, and servents
As she wondered around in the gardens and the woods.

Fate called her name and took her to lands far away,
Where she became even more strange in some ways.
An outsiders from the start, and fully content with that-
She was happy no matter where she happened to be.

A loner with a few good looks to make her hard to miss,
But an attutide that caused her to be labled as 'cold'
And 'boring' beside her stunning and outgoing sister,
But that made little differance to either of them.

Now she has grown into a woman, and a survivor too.
She proved them all wrong and now she moves forward,
A loner that stands alone when she wants to,
But is never without the loved ones that she hold dear.

So... the tale ends for now, but it is really not the end.
It is but the beggining of a tale that is yet unknown-
A mystery of sorts that only time it's self will solve,
But she is as content with that as she is with everything else.
