A dress
A life
A lie
Who knows if it’ll fit.
What does it matter if it does
Or not
You only look for what you like
But nothing you can have.
Unaffordable
Unattainable
Unknowable
What does it matter what it is
Or not
Everything is only what you want it to be
But what it never is
A beautiful shirt
A summer dress
A wonderful life
A perfect lie
They’ll always fit
A perfect fit
Or close enough.
