I'm a single-celled organism
revolving around an empty space
wandering between the distance of our fingers
we could reframe,re-form
and like puzzle pieces,
create a picture

we don't have to be sheltered
or denied by eyes that judge too much
and care even less

ii.

recombination--we become complex
to form the air the world breathes
and the soil from which I grow

I am the Earth
I appeared millions of years ago
and I'm a factor that can't be filtered out
so I evolve, become something more
creating systems that are automatic
I'm fully functional now

my gills have become lungs
my tail has fallen off
and I have legs, arms now


I have a mind to think
I'm complex in my thought
I have a concept of Heaven and Hell
and years worth of pain
I'll repeat myself,
because it's my very nature

and one day,I will die
to be reborn and start all over again.
