In Loving Memory Of Maria Hernandez

****

“Lord, why did you call me here, it was way too soon”
“I needed you my darling child”
“I have three babies who needed me more”

****

Twenty-eight years old with so much life to live
Struggling on her own to make a better life for her kids

Three little girls, each with a beautiful smiling face
Born to a loving mother, they were her saving grace

One misjudgment, all it took was one horrible mistake
So many lives affected, another made it their choice, a life to take

A mother of three, taken to a “better place”
Away from her girls, each with a beautiful smiling face

Will they remember their last moments with her
tucked into her arms, resting their head on her heart

Will they rely on others, their memories to save
Remind them of their mothers’ love, and how she was so brave

Will they remember what it felt like to be held by their mother
Encouraging words she'd whisper to their hearts, or will they rely on one another?

Will their memories fade or be strong enough to withstand time

Her touch
The way she smelt
Her features they share

Will they remember?.

In Loving Memory of a Mom, a Daughter, a Fiance, a Friend. A caring woman who would do anything for those she loved.

Maria, you will be missed in the hearts of those you've touched….

Be Truthful.

  • This is delicate, and heart wrenching, and ever so beautiful. Ever so typical of you, my dear, to write the pain of others so well, and yet as a touching tribute.

    My love

My heart is saddened for you, Rosa, and Maria's children, who I am sure will treasure every memory they have of her.

Just last week I lost my Aunt, my father's last living sibling. On that same day, my dog died. She was thirteen years old and I miss her sorely today. Then,on Sunday, my cousin at the age of 58, passed out on the elevator at work and they were unable to revive her.

Death comes sometimes without warning. It pains our hearts, and floods our eyes. I could feel the intensity of your pain here, and your love.

My condolences to Rosa, and her family. I am in tears.

    I LOVE YOU ♥

  • Beautiful Tribute

You cracked my hard surface with this one. Then again, who wouldn't cry for the loss of one so young, especially someone with three little girls who will have to go on without her? It's horribly sad. I'm sorry for your loss, and all who knew her.

Such a tender, loving memory of your friend... I know it must hurt to write this. I hope those little girls remember their loving mothers touch and feel her presence in their hearts.

    Wow

a very emotional piece.. I totally understand how it feels to lose your bestfriend in life. I lost a friend, well she was more like a sister than my own sister. She died in November 2005, there is not a day that goes by that I don't think about her. Time will heal all wounds but some wounds last a little longer. Take care and keep your head. The girls will need your support more than ever now.
