Young between the lines of your wrinkles
and my life living
Given the chance you'd of made me a happy lady
yet your age will cradle me down into cot death
and because of this there is my thought of
'if you love me then is the love worth you killing me for'
Not that I don't love the gifts and the gift of feeling young amongst the old like yourself
but given no choice I have to live my 'being'
take it on adventures
With you in my life means I mayswell be dead in rest
because if relax is all me and you do
then there's no room for you and your growth to make me as old as the folk I know.
So please go and be on your way old man.
I don't need your mature balanced fragile legs to walk me through my years.
I deserve more.
I will live for more.

This was really weird, but in a good, unique, original way. It may not really be my "type" of poetry (if I really have one) but it's certainly a great poem and great take on the prompt. The opening line was really good and probably my favorite part. Thank you for entering, and good luck
