Dear Diary

 

Dear Diary, this was a very good day,
it finally happened, he looked my way!

I left him a cookie, wrote a note too,
said that I liked him, you know that I do!

Maybe tomorrow I might say hello,
or maybe it's best if I take it slow.

But Diary you know he is the one!
And he'll be mine before I'm done.

Well now it's time to go to bed,
with thoughts of him still in my head.

    This piece tugged at the Heartstrings for when I was reading...I had to go Aaaaaaaaaaaaw
    for some reason I was seeing word: Chicago
    and strange as it may sound words:
    Business Proposition~
    hearing airlines...but in reference to Chicago...
    sounds like en route to...
    and seeing a swan....hearing:
    let the Totem Spirit Guide...guide You
    Love the rhyme too

    These lines grabbed and pulled~

    I really liked the flow in this piece. we all had a diary at one point in time of our lives.. I just called my journals..... good luck with this fun filled piece.

    What a excellent take on this cute prompt picture...starting out young but that is the way of the world....great flow just eases off the page with a good little rhyme pattern which just seems to fit perfectly to the prompt. Very well crafted Good luck in the contest.
