Kisses from Heaven

Missing image
Late at night and a mother cries
she cant make it through alone
the pain that she hides
bleeds through the night
and she runs through the door
into the thunder storm
hits her knees and screams
"What did you take him for"

she doesn't notice a single star
watching her in the darkest hour
not asking for a miracle
just a reason to beleive
that...

When the rain falls
the rain drops are just
kisses from heaven
letting you know you're alive
and though you can't see them
they're there by your side
cause rain drops are
kisses from heaven

falling with love
falling with love to you.

He's alone and no one knows
how he feels with out her
they all think he's doing fine
but there are those days
when he runs outside
and throws words into the wind
praying that God will take him
so he can forget the past

Through the haze of yesterday
he cannot see the rainstorm
he's not asking for a miracle
just a reason to beleive
that...

when the rain falls
the rain drops are just
kisses from heaven
letting you know you're alive
and though you can't see them
they're there by your side
cause rain drops are
kisses from heaven

This is beautiful and so sad. You have a lot of power in your words. I wish you well and pray for your husband's safe return.

    I Love This

Rain drops from heaven are kisses. I wrote a poem similar but different. Oh called, Love Drops From Heavens Skies I think, LOL. This is just beautiful and the imagery swept me away as well as the emotions written so nicely in your poem. I can't imagine what you are going through with your husband being in Iraq. Keep on penning your beautiful poetry for you are very gifted and it's a joy to read your work. Thank you for sharing with me.
    Much Love
    Many Blessings
