Author notes
by The Madman
It was with both joy and sadness that this work was created for Cathy. Joy in that I was able to use my talent and abilities to give her something she wanted, a background(s) with which she could express herself in her writings of such a loss, and sadness in that the BG was created FOR such a loss. In making this BG, I wanted Chloe to stand out from the rest of the BG, separate unto herself so to speak, and thus reduced the picture given to a greyscale image and then recolored Chloe herself after placing the rays much like a halo behind her little head to signify the angel she most assuredly was. I also wanted to include her precious little feet into the BG, but not as feet themselves but much like the little footprints they make on hospital records and such. And finally her little hands. Luckily there was one picture that I could extract just what I wanted in her hands, and placed where notice of her passing was inserted and manipulated such that they were grasping her mother's middle finger, uncolored, almost like little Chloe was reaching out from her new resting place to grasp her mother's finger, to signify that though departed from her earthly life and family, her short presence upon this earth and her loss will both be forever felt. I hope you all enjoy,
Evan

I have to admit that when I saw this it brought tears to my eyes...AGAIN... This whole business is just such a heartbreak, I am at a loss for words, and all emotions... But this is absolutely gorgeous... Like nothing I have ever seen!!! You have done Cathy proud!!!

Thank you for your visit again and for such a wonderful comment left again on this BG. Yes it was such a heart breaker for both family and friends of family and well worth the extra effort to create something beautiful for Cathy for the expressions of her pain and sorrow. Thanks again,
Evan

thank you so much for such a wonderful commnet and so glad that it has pleased you so to warrant such. This one yook some time as you might well expect. I wanted Chloe to stand out from the rest of the Bg so after a bit of other manipulation, colored her only, but only after lifting her from the picture, placing the halo effect done to signify the angel that she undoubtedly was, and placing back again Chloe, thus leaving the halo effect around her. I also wanted the feet to look more like the footprints they do at the hospital and also wanted to include her hands and thankfully there was one picture supplied that gave me the chance to work with as I did to create the effect of Chloe grasping her mother's index finger, both in themselves quite an involved process, but the final effect did turn out so nice...and all the effort in the world is well worth it for such a loss of such a sweet and innocent baby. Again....I thank you, you honor me with your comments as well as the work itself,
Best wishes,
Evan
