Barbie Girl

Everyone points and stares
While whispers fly by.
Rumors start and tears break out,
Who said being a model was perfect?

  • a good poem, ah well everyone's just jealous of those they see with fine ways, they only point and stare because they envy you and your life.

  • hmm, well I never thought of it in that way.

Being a model has it's ups and downs like any other job, it is just a job and should in no way represent who any one truly is, however a job for most models means lots of extra work out side of work, keeping a shape, keeping a smile and so on and so on, I was so happy when I could eat cake and not feel quilty! now I write and publish in my own little world and eat all I desire lol

I think being a model is one of the hardest things in the world, but it does have its perks at times. Beautiful poem hunny.

Being a model is rarely perfect. I mean, it's so hard in any field where you have to impress the audience and modeling is no acception, if you go down hill, so does your carrier, it's a huge pressure keeping up with what you need to do. Plus the stereotypes are stupid, my sisters roommate is doing a design course and she's a tomboy, so it doesn't matter what you look like, it's your passion that counts.
    Love this one honey ♥
