always from the seat beside mine
or from across the room
you make a joke
always making me laugh so hard
tears chase each other down my cheeks
you're nearly as klutzy as me
always dropping your papers
stumbling over that chair
you are disorganized
always having to borrow another pencil
and forgetting to give it back
you talk to me
always about random things
and you make my heart melt
your eyes light up
always that crystal baby blue
when you stick out your tongue
you are absolutely impossible
always teasing me
and being my best friend
you don't hold me close
always careful we don't touch
and i wonder why ...
you're an amazing guy
always making me laugh
and i have to tell you i look at you
like you're more than a friend.
