No wonder we are so confused and angry in this world of today.
War, lies, and money continue to haunt us day to day.
And what on earth have we done?
to deserve this kind of fate
Yes, look at the earth, it too is suffering,
upset
that we have put all it's good use to waste.
From toxic chemicals to the hopeless cynical
All people feel unsafe and alone
Still the earth, as we collect corpses below and above it
struggles to survive, remember...
We reap what we sow
From dirty politics to lack of gas alternatives
some try to inform and let people know
that as the war and elections get worse
so is the o-ozone.
Our trust in the government is thinning away
As landfills and oil spills are causing communities to do the same.
As the water depletes and were taking the heat
We have no where else to go
But we are not hesitant to say no to a couple
simply wanting a plot of land to call their own
Funny, if you are not rich or intellegent
your class is bound to be low ,
Remember,
You reap what you sow
It's not just nature that need saving
How long before we know
we are not so far a part
but in fact a whole?
