Cold and harsh it can be
White things fluttering in the air
As far as the eye can see is white
Trees are bare (except for evergreens)
Not a flower in sight
Jackets thick and the roads are salted
The spell of winter has arrived
Your wishing it was spring
Only a couple weeks to go
A couple weeks later now it is green
Trees getting back their color
Shorts and T-shirts everywhere
Not a jacket in sight
Spring has cast it's spell once again
Flowers are popping up everywhere
You are as happy as could be
The warm sun filling up the sky
The water ever so warm

I love the emotions in this, and the beautiful idea of turning winter to spring. Your winter descriptions are beautiful, and I love how light and carefree spring becomes. Wonderful.
