Peacefully asleep, in deepest dream
Mind as calm as a beautiful stream
Rest now, darling babe
Until the pleasant breaking of day
Floating upon heaven’s cloud
With soothing twinkling stars sound
Glide with the soft breeze
Your breathing at ease
Lay upon a somber moonbeam
While the clouds take you under wing
But bliss will slowly leave this place
As terror swiftly takes place
The breezes whips and starts to howl
Your angelic face begins to frown
Wicked wind and fierce rain cripple the flower
And you slowly start to whimper
Moonbeams slowly start to melt
The sensation of falling you felt
Grasping to anything to hold you tight
As you quickly fall down in flight
Falling motionless into the blackness
You wake to long for closeness
Screams of agony terrify
And begin a horrific cry
The gentleness of mother quiets your thoughts
But the dreams have you not forgot
Sleepy and sad eyes slowly start to close
As your mother whispers musical notes
“Quiet now, little babe
You are now in my arms safe
Hush soundly to sleep again
For good dreams for you shall begin”
