I bump into her body
There is no escape.
My breath is shortened
There is no escape.
Her whisper is on my lips,
There is no escape.
Her heart beats for me
There is no escape.
I see only her in the darkness
There is no escape.
I want only her in the quiet
There is no escape.
This is what they call love
I want no escape.
This is what they all want
I want no escape.
In the darkness there is her soul.
In the night there is only her mind.
In the calm there is her saftey.
In the quiet there is only her love.

The repetition is like a heartbeat, very intense poem and darkly compelling. When fear turns to love it doesn't get lighter, and darkness is comforting in the end.
Thanks for entering!
