When the sky falls unto the earth
And the night swirls in memory
Of things that once were -
Still I will hold you in my arms.
Still my voice will whisper
Promises in your ears
Still I will study your
Soft, sad green eyes -
But though the sun shines darkly on the earth
Never will I leave you.
